Say a prayer for him....

The title may confuse some...if you've met me you know I'm not big on religion, however I do believe in a higher power, spirituality, something......I believe there is something beyond this life, just what that is I can't answer...I do however believe that praying, or asking for help, putting positive thoughts out there when needed, can help......So when I know of someone who is suffering or in need of a miracle, I do pray...I ask for them to be helped, to be healed, to be forgiven, or to be given whatever they may need.

So the point of this blog is to hopefully bring some healing power to a lovely gentlemen who is direly in need. This particular gentleman is a client. A client I hadn't heard from for over a year, until recently. I received a call from him, and his call wasn't to book a date, he wanted to explain his absence. I was deeply saddened with what I was told and impressed by his bravery. He's been in and out of the hospital over this past year, having one procedure after another and then a most serious diagnosis of liver cancer.

He went on to tell me how much his visits with me meant to him and that his goal was to have another......It was humbling to hear his positivity and determination to beat this.. I thought, how gracious and kind for him to take the time to reach out to me to let me know....

I often gripe and whine about the few idiots who post negatively about me from time to time, when instead, I should be ignoring that bullshit and be grateful for having met gentlemen like this man and others like him, who have been nothing but kind, generous and a pleasure to know.....I often forget just how many men have been so good to me and who also think the world of me....I'm more lucky than I realize and ashamed that I don't welcome each day with that realization.

Really, if we have our health, we're all very lucky, as that truly is the most precious gift. So if you don't mind, I ask you, even though this gentleman is an unknown person to you, please say a prayer for him...Lets keep him, and all those kind souls facing troubles, and health issues, in our thoughts and prayers with hopes that healing will reach them.......Thank you for reading this and for your kind thoughts.
