In case you were wondering....

I'm going to speak about a few things in this blog, so get comfy, it might be a little long, lol.

Firstly I'd like to speak about deposits. Mostly because I'm sick of hearing of and reading posts those review boards goofs post on their boards intimating that any escort who requires a deposit is a scammer, or not to be trusted. To be succinct, the majority of established and professional escorts require a deposit. We require a deposit because it is the only way we can be assured that you will honor the time you book. Our time is our money. When it is wasted we can't get it back.....So back to those review boards goofs...most of those guys who gripe about deposits, and who claim other nonsense about them, prefer to see new ladies, and some prefer girls, yes you read that right. The very young and inexperienced. Those escorts who have just entered the biz and who have little online presence, who have one ad on one site, and with any research, you'll find out, some of who are also pimped. Some of those goofs have been ripped off or robbed by those escorts, or those escorts "men", leaving the review board guys soured to anyone who asks for a deposit. Instead of blaming themselves for being careless in their choice of an escort, they'll instead blame a secure depositing system, (etransfer, which most use for deposits) and all escorts who ask for them. Many of those guys will also lament about how unsafe it is to allow an escort to know their real name or to have their real phone number because they'll claim we'll be likely to extort them of all their money when given that information...Bearing in mind that many of those same guys would probably have little to no $$ to extort. Regardless, anyone willing to go to those lengths should be charged...I'm not making light of that type of crime. Just the foolishness of the comments. Can you imagine an established escorts throwing her career out the window for a few hundred or even a few thousand $$....No, any established and professional escort has an entrepreneurial mind, not a criminal one and work towards gaining repeat clients, not scheming ways to rip off clients.....The lengths some of these goofs will go to make it seem that we, established, professional escorts, are the problem, instead of their lack of careful research is astounding to me. So many of them refuse to be accountable for their own actions. I believe they fear being known because when known they'll have less power on those boards to post their nonsense. Their anonymity gives them bravery and power. It also allows them to not be held accountable when they play games with different escorts, by no showing, cancelling last minute, and other intentional malicious deeds.

As a low volume escort when I accept a date I work my personal affairs around that time/day. I make sure I and my space are properly prepared, and ready to receive you. If you cancel, I'm inconvenienced, yet with a deposit, I'm not without a financial reward for that inconvenience, so it''s not a complete loss...Without that deposit, I'm left inconvenienced and without compensation for that wasted time. Seldom can I fill a booked spot with another client to recover. those monies I was wanting to earn...and often I'll have more than one client looking to book for that same time. So if a client cancels and doesn't send a deposit, I've lost more than just that one booking.....There are specific hours preferred by most clients, in case you didn't know. I won't list those hours, but they do exist, lol....

Another subject on my mind is competition in this industry....It's been a subject broached by an escort I follow on bsky of late....and one I've lots to say about, but I'll keep it short, lol.... It is also something I've never understood, especially for this industry. I have always held the belief that competition was wasted energy. That we are all given what we earn and deserve..... That if a client wants to see me, he will, regardless of who else is available. I've never understood the need to compete for that, especially in such an industry where things are so subjective....and I am distrustful of those ladies who are competitive. As a few I've met will seem go to any lengths to win over clients. Including spreading lies, convincing clients to see them or their friends instead of someone the client may like, and other malicious and unnecessary deeds. It should be enough for an escort to provide their best service without a desire to outdo, or throw someone under the bus to gain their clients. If I ever become that desperate, then that's when I'll know it's my time to quit....Something to also keep in mind, in this industry, reputations aren't always fairly earned. Popular ladies can become popular not because they are more beautiful, or provide better service, sometimes it's just because they are promoted by the "right" people....just as some with negative reputations...some don't earn those either, they have just been denigrated by the "right" people.... So always use your spidey senses when wanting to meet someone. Don't fall for what's said on those boards, unless you know and trust the person speaking the words...Even then I'd suggest asking questions and speaking to the escort yourself to make your own determination. Competition in this industry is a serious game for many...and many will play it without any rules....

Speaking of Bsky...or Bluesky.social....which is the new social platform that most of us are migrating to, since twitter/X has evicted so many escort accounts of late. Bsky seems to be a little more liberal towards allowing us to post our schedules and link our websites, etc, which twitter no longer allows. I also hope they'll be a little more judicial when random haters report posts or accs...Twitter/X isn't. Once reported and they deem your post/acc as breaking their rules there is seldom a chance of recovering the account. So if you are on twitter/X think of creating a Bsky acc, I do believe that most will eventually end up there if not soon, within this year. My acc there is cristy.bsky.social I hope to see you there.
